Bem Brasil #16 - The Old School Samba Show: Cartola starred in a two-hour all-Brazilian Portuguese Extravaganza! Our last Sunday Show in the 2-4 PM Time Slot. Originally Aired 10/28/12

Another last Bem Brasil with Will Crawford  of the month and as usual, The program was broadcast entirely in Portuguese.

On this show, we focused on samba and grooved with many traditional performers, including Ary Barroso, Angela Maria,  Paulinho da Viola, Clementina de Jesus, Paulinho da Viola, Chico Buarque,  Clara Nunes, Ismael Silva and many others. 

On the second hour, we focused exclusively on the groundbreaking work of the great singer and composer Cartola (1908-1980). 

This was our final 2-4 PM Show. On 11/04/12, We started broadcasting from 6-8 PM PST, still  in Studio 1A.
