Bem Brasil #69 Featuring Os Borges Airs Today in Studio 1A!

Today's Bem Brasil Radio is all about family. specifically, the family of Lô Borges, who is best known for his collaboration with Milton Nascimento, which led to the highly influential Clube da Esquina album released in 1972. 

Today's selection was released in 1980 and features the entire Borges clan, a musical family from the state of Minas Gerais, consisting of the brothers Nico Borges, Telo Borges, Marilton Borges, Márcio Borges, Yê Borges, Lô Borges and Solange Borges, the father and mother Salomao Borges 

and Dona Maricota Borges. Making appearances on this disc are  Toninho Horta, Elis Regina, Gonzaguinha, Lucio Alves and  Milton Nascimento himself.

Bem Brasil #47, Featuring MPB-4: Two Hours of Vocal Virtuosity! Originally Aired 06/02/13

 On this Sunday’s Bem Brasil With Will Crawford, we will feature a whole hour of vocal virtuosity, courtesy of MPB-4. Active since 1965, the group is primarily known for their spirited interpretations of MPB and samba. Considered among the best vocal  groups in Brazil, They are well know for their frequent collaborations with Chico Buarque, Toquinho,  Quarteto em Cy and Djavan, In 2001, MPB-4 completed a 36-year career with the same lineup, which earned them a place in the Brazilian edition of the Brazilian Guinness Book of Records. As always, this is a show you will not want to miss, so be sure to tune in this Sunday from 6-8 PM in Studio 1A!
