It took nine shows, but it finally happenned: The Bossa Nova Show! On 09/02/2012, we enjoyed two hours of lyrical fusion of Samba and Jazz. We played it cool with classic tracks from Antonio Carlos Jobim, Nara Leao, Toquinho, Baden Powell, Chico Buarque, Quarteto em Cy, Quarteto Novo and others.
On Hour #2, we feasted on an entire hour of music from the man whose seminal recordings established the new musical genre of Bossa Nova in the late 1950s. None other than the great João Gilberto, who turned 81 that year and is still going strong!
