Bem Brasil #20: Antonio Carlos Jobim Is Featured In A 2-Hour All-Star Brazilian Portuguese Extravaganza! Originally Aired 11/25/2012

This  Bem Brasil with Will Crawford was the last one of the month and  as usual, the show will be broadcast entirely in Portuguese! This show also featured our first non-Brazilian artist, with Angelique Kidjo singing Gilberto Gil's Refazenda. 

After featuring relatively obscure artists for the previous two weeks, this show was all about the classics: We'll hear great tracks sung by Gal Costa, Maria Bethânia, João Gilberto, Chico Buarque,  Miúcha,  Toquinho, Elis Regina, Jorge Ben and many, many  more!

 On Hour #2, we'll enjoyed the seminal recordings of one of  the creators of  Bossa nova,   Antônio Carlos Jobim, one of the most important songwriters of the 20th Century! The show features choice tracks from his career, including his first collaborations with Vinícius de Moraes, whose play   Orfeu da Conceição (AKA Black Orpheus) launched Jobim's career!
